There’s just something about Disneyland during Halloween that feels like pure magic. The energy is different—festive, cosy, slightly spooky, and filled with wonder. This past weekend, we stepped into that world, and honestly? It was unforgettable.
Straight to the Classics
We started strong—straight to the classics. Haunted Mansion (with its Halloween overlay, of course), Space Mountain, and a nostalgic cruise through Pirates of the Caribbean. But what really stopped me in my tracks?
That castle. With the Halloween touches and soft golden light, it looked like something out of a fairytale dream.
Main Street Magic
Main Street was absolutely glowing. Pumpkin wreaths on every lamp post, fall leaves tucked into window displays, and spooky but sweet music floating in the air. We loaded up on treats (yes, pumpkin churros were a must), and just wandered around, taking it all in.
Characters in Costume
Everywhere we looked, our favourite characters were dressed up in their Halloween best. Goofy was rocking a skeleton suit, and Mickey had the cutest vampire outfit. It was like stepping into a living cartoon.
Nighttime Wonderland

A Slow, Sweet Sunday
Sunday morning we took it slow. Grabbed coffee, watched the kids run around in costume, and did a little window shopping. I didn’t want to leave—but all good things, right?
The Magic of the Moment
This weekend at Disneyland wasn’t just a getaway—it was a little reminder of what it feels like to be completely in the moment. To laugh loud. To eat too much. To believe in magic, even just for a while. Already thinking about next year’s costumes…
