Tucked into leafy Hindmarsh Square, Pullman Adelaide felt like the right kind of city escape. The kind where you’re still in the thick of things — close to Rundle Mall, restaurants, and the Adelaide Oval — but also just far enough to find a pocket of peace. I stayed in a Junior Suite this time around, and from the moment I opened the door, I could already feel it: this was going to be one of those trips — the kind you don’t forget.

Suite with a View
The Junior Suite didn’t disappoint. Spacious, airy, and bright — but it was the view that really sealed it for me. Looking out over the city from up high felt like having my own little perch in the clouds.
Mornings started with sunlight flooding the room, and evenings wound down with that soft Adelaide twilight stretching across the skyline. It was one of those rooms you didn’t want to leave. Comfortable bed, lounge space to spread out, and just the right touches of luxe.
PARC Brasserie – A Surprise Favourite
If I’m honest, I hadn’t expected much from the in-house dining, but PARC Brasserie turned out to be one of the highlights. The food had that clean, seasonal flair — with local produce front and centre — and the staff were genuinely warm.
I ended up eating here twice, which says something. Breakfast was equally solid, with enough variety to keep both sweet and savoury cravings happy.
Lap Pool, Sauna & The Fit Lounge
I made time to dip into the second-floor wellness facilities — literally. The indoor lap pool was surprisingly relaxing (even with a few early morning swimmers doing serious laps), and the sauna added a nice spa-like touch.
The gym was clean and had everything you’d expect, though I stuck to the treadmill for some quick cardio before breakfast.

Location
One of the biggest wins for Pullman Adelaide is the location. Right in the CBD but not swallowed by it. Rundle Mall, the Art Gallery, East End dining, and even the footbridge to Adelaide Oval — all within walking distance.
If you’re in town for an event, it’s super convenient. And yet, there’s a calmness to Hindmarsh Square that makes returning to the hotel feel like pressing pause.
A Few Bumps Along the Way
Now, no stay is ever perfect — and it’s the little things that stand out when everything else is going well. On the first day, we noticed there were no flannels or bath mat in the room. Not a huge deal, but a bit odd for a hotel of this standard.
Also, housekeeping got a bit muddled on one of the days, even after we flagged the room to be cleaned. It didn’t spoil the trip, but it’s worth mentioning. And the bed, while incredibly comfy, didn’t have fitted sheets — so by morning, things were looking a little… unruly.
Final Words
Despite a few hiccups, my stay at Pullman Adelaide was memorable for all the right reasons. The suite, the view, the genuinely lovely service at the restaurant, and the unbeatable location made it one of those “I’d come back here” kind of hotels.
It hits the sweet spot between city energy and quiet luxury. If you’re heading to Adelaide and want a base that makes you feel just a bit spoiled, this is a pretty great pick.
