We went during Halloween, mainly for the spooky vibes, but as we wandered through the park, something caught our eye—a new kind of magic rolling down Main Street. The classic parade we remembered had been swapped out for something brighter, livelier, and more character-packed.
Pixar Comes to Life
This time, the parade was bursting with Pixar energy. From Moana riding her ocean-inspired float to Miguel from Coco playing his guitar in front of a vibrant marigold backdrop—it was nonstop fun.
Characters from Frozen, Inside Out, and even Luca joined in, making it feel super fresh compared to older parades. And everything was so vibrant—like Pixar had exploded onto the street in the best possible way.
A Soundtrack to Remember
The soundtrack was on point—Latin rhythms for Coco, icy elegance for Frozen, and joyful beats for every float in between. The dancers had incredible energy, and their costumes were spot on.
Immersive and Joyful
What we really loved was how immersive it felt. The music matched each scene perfectly and the performers made the crowd part of the show.
A Parade that Pops
Even though Halloween decorations were everywhere, the new Pixar Pals Parade stood out on its own. It actually felt like the clouds and spooky décor made the colours on the floats pop even more.
There was this cool contrast between the Halloween vibes around the park and the joyful Pixar themes rolling by.
Can’t Get Enough
We followed the parade to the end, not wanting to miss a second. It was genuinely better than we expected—and honestly, we’d go back just to watch it again.
It’s amazing how a small change, like updating a parade, can make the whole park feel new again.
Overall Experience
Disneyland nailed it with this updated daytime parade. If you haven’t seen Pixar Pals yet—definitely catch it. It’s packed with energy, feels fresh, and is everything we didn’t know we needed. Can’t wait to go back again (hopefully with even more new characters joining in)!
