After hearing great things about Luci, I was eager to try it. Located in the beautiful Equity Chambers building, the restaurant’s grand design—marble floors, columns, and golden lighting—immediately made an impression. It’s the kind of space that sets the stage for a memorable meal.

Service: Warm, But Not Without Hiccups
The service was warm, but we did encounter a few issues. There were a couple of mix-ups with our water and food orders, and one of our mains didn’t arrive as planned. Fortunately, the staff handled it well, and the supervisor comped our sides, which helped ease the frustration.
Starters: Small Plates with Big Flavour
We started with the gnocchi fritto, which was crispy and truffle-flavoured—absolutely delicious. The arancini with molten mozzarella was another standout. For mains, the ribeye steak was fantastic—tender and flavourful—but the tortellini with duck could’ve been better, as the pasta was a bit too thick. The Wagyu steak was another highlight, cooked to perfection and tender, leaving us wanting more.
Mains: Mostly Excellent
The chilli crab was also a standout dish, offering a bold and spicy kick that perfectly balanced the sweetness of the crab.
The sweet potatoes, roasted and seasoned to perfection, made a great accompaniment to the main dishes.
Dessert: An Unforgettable Finish
We ended with the bombolone—deep-fried dough balls filled with mandarin conserve and rolled in pistachios. They were decadent and the perfect way to finish the meal. But the real highlight was the stunning chocolate mousse, which was perfectly rich and smooth. It was definitely one of the best desserts I’ve had in a while!
Another incredible treat we tried were the banana pancakes, which were fluffy and perfectly sweet, topped with banana and syrup. They were a delightful way to end the meal!
Overall Impression
Despite some service hiccups and a couple of average dishes, Luci offers a great dining experience. The atmosphere is beautiful, and the food mostly hits the mark. Overall, I’d rate it 8.5 out of 10.
